Each retailer that participates in the program has negotiated a marketing agreement with PeopleString, which determines the rebate offered along with any restrictions that may apply. (Travel, Special Category Items, Etc)
In similar fashion to mail-in rebates the times can vary by retailer, however, online rebates typically appear as soon a 2-4 days after the item has shipped or up to 30 days. (traditionally quicker than the normal 4-8 weeks for mail-in rebates)
Since the programs vary among the 100 of participating retailers, we ask that you wait a minimum of 30 days before contacting PeopleString Support. At which time we ask that you provide purchase details for the transaction in question.
The published rate for each retailer is an average rate based upon the rates for different categories of merchandise, as provided by the retailer per the marketing agreement.
Even though the retailer may offer up to ___%, most travel retailers only offer a flat fee based upon the type of ticket purchased. You are advised to review these restrictions prior to making a purchase. Please refer to any restrictions and or descriptions appearing on the People String Home page for each retailer.
